Cleansing

One of the best things of making up your mind to clean that spot in your home you have been neglecting for a long time is, that you might find many things that were lost and you never imagined you would find again and specially, in that place!

Once you decide to start taking things out that abandoned box, closet, cupboard, etc. You are surprised by all the things that were hidden there, the more you “explore” inside the more you will find and then, you begin to wish you had done this cleaning before.

After all the “useful” things you found, you cannot understand how you could procrastinate this cleansing for such a long time!

Then thank to this epiphany, next time you will clean your “forgotten spots” more often and with more enthusiasm.

That sounds like a good thing to put in your “to do” list for this week.

But have you ever noticed that life does the same thing without you noticing it?

Have you ever noticed that when you are going through a difficult time, economical, family situation, etc.  Those who you thought were your greatest friends just “vanish”?

The moment you mention the word “problem” those wonderful friends always have an excuse to disappear immediately.

Then, either you meet new people who actually help you with no hidden agenda, or some “miracle” appears in your life and new blessings arrive to your life, including new people.

I am not saying that all your friends can or must help you all the time, but I think you have been there and understand perfectly well what I am talking about.

Have ever occur to you that maybe that happened for a good reason?

Could that good reason be to “clean” the energy that surrounds you, like in the shape of people who are no longer needed in your life? Sounds harsh, I know, it is but it´s true.

  1. As I began to read your article, I thought it was going to be about detoxifying the body. Thank you for broadening my world outside the healthcare arena!

Your words are well spoken. The concept, “things happen for a reason” really does apply. Sometimes we also need to re-categorize friends and acquaintances. Emergencies and undesirable tasks seem to help clarify who one’s friends truly are.

This was a very enjoyable read. Thank you.
