What about you?

Have you noticed how hard you are with yourself?

You can admire an athlete who has accomplished an important mark in their speciality, you love to read about those people who have survived tough situations and after a terrible struggle they came out victorious.

You can feel respect for those people who have gone through humiliation, torture and all kinds of abuse, in order to be true to their convictions and ideas in addition to sacrificing all in their lives so they could reach their final destination covered in glory.

We all have stories among our family and friends of people who have gone through a real hell on Earth just to accomplish their deepest dreams.

There are now, plenty of reality shows and other programs about those people who have made it in extreme circumstances. Shattered

 floor

Sometimes the only way to break free from a bad cycle, is allowing yourself to be completely exposed so the bad leaves your system and the new and good can come in once more.

It is acceptable to decide to let anger and sadness to fill your heart and soul for a while because those feelings are a part of your human nature and have a reason to exist in you. Continue reading

Enthusiastic

“How can you be so enthusiastic all the time? Can’t you see the word is upside down?  Terrorism, war, hunger, economies and governments crumbling down, all that, and you dare to smile all the time?”. That was the way a friend of mine received me this morning.

“Your false happy attitude can bother many people around you” he said. Continue reading

Terror

One of the most powerful tools some groups and nations around the world, are using against humanity is terror.

There is nothing that paralyses us more than fear.  Our whole body, mind and spirit ceases to respond and the whole world stops for a few instants. And we are the most vulnerable creatures in that moment. Continue reading

Only in the movies

How many times have you seen a scene on a film or a TV series where the events appear so synchronised and exaggerated that at the end everybody around you exclaimed: “That only happens in the movies!”?

Of course the entertainment industry has learnt to use our emotions in many ways and we have all experienced what it feels to live a story on this side of the screen, we are so involved into the story that we forget everything around us for a while and we experience fear, anguish, hate, happiness and all the gamma of human emotions available.
