I have heard often that deciding to begin something is a very difficult part of life. And yes, many times we waste a lot of time trying to determine what is the best course of action for our next step.
Deciding how to begin, could be very stressful but, what about starting all over again?
When you face something new you could be driven by enthusiasm, excitement, expectations and sometimes just plain ignorance of what is ahead of you.
But when you are facing something you have tried before and failed, your decisions could be loaded with anxiety to fail once more. Your past mistakes are huge ghosts difficult to overcome most times. I am impressed of the way young people are limiting themselves nowadays. Yes, I know I sound like a bitter old man now, but I cannot understand why people are allowing others to control their minds and destinies.
I have been working with young people who have just finished their careers and most of them, are finding out that having a degree in your hands do not automatically make you capable to handle all things before you.
Finishing a career really means that you are ready to begin your journey in that subject but you are really beginning to learn what you will need ahead in your path. One of the most common questions I hear all the time and, actually have asked myself many times as well is: When do changes begin to appear?
You listen constantly that you need to control your thoughts in order to change the way you look at things, to stop listening and reading tragic news (that is: everything you see on news channels and newspapers), and to avoid negative people and conversations, to keep your faith alive and keeping your mind positive.
