Do nothing

We are living very hectic times, everything must be quick and short. We like to see a movie instead of reading the book, we strive to find shortcuts, instead of taking the time to learn and practice to do things properly. We prefer to pay to get our clothes washed and ironed instead of taking the time to do it ourselves.

We are living our lives on the fast lane.

As a civilization, we are getting lazy on many things.

But on the other hand, we are getting obsessed with exercising. We are beginning to face serious health problems due to an excess of exercise training in ways our body was not design to do. But, fashion is fashion and you need to follow it, in order to feel you are “fitting in”, right?

The external

There are nowadays an overflow of products and “information” about health and fitness everywhere. Some information is very useful and comes from good sources. But most info, especially on-line literature, is just commercial-media mumbo-jumbo.

Modern medicine has advance in very impressive ways, aided by technology and chemistry, but most times you get more scared of the secondary effects of that medicine that sometimes are even worst that your original ailment.

I have talked here many times about the importance of what you allow into your mind, since that information goes deep into your subconscious mind and affects you deeply at all levels.

New beginnings

When I received the news, I couldn’t believe it was happening to me.  I had not time to get sick, I had no time to rest, I had no time to waste my time changing my life style.

There should be a quick way to get rid of that illness.

After all, we do everything fast nowadays, we do not have to cook anymore, we eat fast food, we take our clothes to the laundry and pick it up cleaned and ironed, so we don’t have to waste time doing it ourselves, we use a taxi service to take us everywhere so we don’t have to drive anymore, our smartphone will find the shortest and fastest way so we don’t waste a second in the traffic.

We live our life at high speed and we are used to get what we want fast and easy.

The internet answers all our questions and provide us with all the information we need in seconds.

So there is no excuse for an illness to overstay in our bodies. There has to be a pill, a treatment or a method for me to get rid of anything that dares to slows down my everyday’s pace. Continue reading

Tired

I have tried to sleep more hours to see if my weariness would fade away. But I kept feeling tired, with no energy whatsoever.  When your inner self is tired, all the physical rest and sleeping will not make a difference.

There are days when you wake up and life hurts, therefore you resent it and will reflect it in your physical body.  And of course it will take you longer to stand on your feet, but any way you have to do it.

You see, it is easier for our brain to recall bad memories.  We usually remember more the bad events than the good ones, so we keep them in the first row of our conscious mind and that could be one of the main reasons why we keep repeating our mistakes and manifesting our worst fears faster. Old?

When I was in my teenage years I remember I thought that when I´d turn 30 I would be officially an adult.  My uncle was 55 years old at that time and he told me he felt awesome, in good health and as active as ever.

Of course I thought he was only trying to make others think that he was not too old. I believed he was really old at that age and I told him so.

He just laughed and told me that age was not really in the body but in your mind. I laughed even harder and thought he was just trying to convince his mind that he was still young and strong. Nevertheless I was very impressed to see how hard he trained at the gym that day. Continue reading

Our body is very well designed, every muscle, every cell has its own reason to be like it is. But we abuse it constantly.

We feed our body with too many chemicals that are now creating new illnesses and our body is trying to defend itself as much as it can.
