Everybody is telling you that you need to control what you think because it is what you attract. That brings upon us a big burden since we stress ourselves by making a big effort to avoid bad thoughts and feelings.
As human beings, we can experience all kinds of feelings, thoughts, and emotions.
We cannot limit our mind and soul to filter all the time our bad thoughts and feelings. That would not be beneficial, and in the end, it would bring us major health problems.
We do not need to completely avoid newspapers, TV news and the general gossiping around us.

We are living very hectic times, everything must be quick and short. We like to see a movie instead of reading the book, we strive to find shortcuts, instead of taking the time to learn and practice to do things properly. We prefer to pay to get our clothes washed and ironed instead of taking the time to do it ourselves.
We are living our lives on the fast lane.
As a civilization, we are getting lazy on many things.
But on the other hand, we are getting obsessed with exercising. We are beginning to face serious health problems due to an excess of exercise training in ways our body was not design to do. But, fashion is fashion and you need to follow it, in order to feel you are “fitting in”, right?
There are nowadays an overflow of products and “information” about health and fitness everywhere. Some information is very useful and comes from good sources. But most info, especially on-line literature, is just commercial-media mumbo-jumbo.
Modern medicine has advance in very impressive ways, aided by technology and chemistry, but most times you get more scared of the secondary effects of that medicine that sometimes are even worst that your original ailment.
I have talked here many times about the importance of what you allow into your mind, since that information goes deep into your subconscious mind and affects you deeply at all levels.

I was trying to remember the precise moment when I started to materialise my wishes like crazy, one after the other. And then in what precise moment I stopped doing it.
I remember that when I learnt about the Law of Attraction I was really excited about the new discoveries I was making and at the same time I was not limiting myself on what I wanted to manifest in my life.
But after sometime my old ideas started to slow me down and then I stopped asking and setting goals.
After an amazing storm I was on my way to see a client trying to find shortcuts along the way to arrive on time.
I decided to go through a park I have never visited before but, it was on the way to my client’s office. I was walking very fast and suddenly, after a curve, I found myself in front of a huge puddle.
At first I thought trying to jump over it or, slowly walk through it, but the image of a video of a car sinking in an apparently innocent puddle came to my mind. This video showed a car crossing a seemingly inoffensive puddle in a street of a big city, but it seems it was covering a huge “gap”, the car unknowingly kept advancing and suddenly disappeared into the “puddle”.
The video did not show whether the driver was able to come out alive from there, but the image remained very clear in my mind. Continue reading →

These are common questions we all hear all the time.
And have you ever imagined a world without opposites?
It could not exist at all actually.

Have you notice how we tend to worry like crazy, have the blackest thoughts, imagine the worst scenarios, overstress our body and lose sleep and hunger like crazy?
And after all that, things work out in bizarre ways in the end.
We feel so relieved after the things were not as bad as we imagined that we forget to look back and see all those nasty details that robbed us from our health and peace of mind.
So when next test arrives, will you once again go through the same process of worrying, losing sleep and appetite and damage our body as much as we can.

“Mmmh mum, this new set no longer needs to work on channel 3, now they have a special mode for different inputs”, I said with a calmed voice.

When I was in my teenage years I remember I thought that when I´d turn 30 I would be officially an adult. My uncle was 55 years old at that time and he told me he felt awesome, in good health and as active as ever.
Of course I thought he was only trying to make others think that he was not too old. I believed he was really old at that age and I told him so.
He just laughed and told me that age was not really in the body but in your mind. I laughed even harder and thought he was just trying to convince his mind that he was still young and strong. Nevertheless I was very impressed to see how hard he trained at the gym that day. Continue reading →
