Distance

One of my friends is very small, or like she likes to say. “petite”. Her legs are short and she doesn’t walk very fast. So she was not used to walk long distances.

I am just the opposite, I have got long legs and walk extremely fast.

She looks everything from her perspective, obviously, so when I told her about my long walks, she couldn’t believe me, to her those distances are extreme. To me are normal. Continue reading

Embrace it

I have heard so many times that you have to embrace change and difficulties when they come, that I thought I had totally understood the idea. And probably I had, but as usual when it comes to apply our knowledge in real life, things become difficult.

We are all excellent for theory but when practice time arrives, the story is quite different, same thing when giving advice to others, we already know what to say to them in any situation THEY have to face, but when we are in the same predicament, all those answers and solutions vanish from our head. There is no time in life to waste

I am not saying you need to get worried about time and hurry to do everything right now before something happens to you. That will stress you more than help you in anyway.

What I mean here is stop thinking that you can leave things for a better time, for another moment, for tomorrow, and so on and so forth.

I have been losing many friends lately. Yes I am guilty for having friends who are older than me. But you know what? But once you leave the school and begin your journey in this life, new kinds of teachers appear in different times and places just to remind you the things you already knew but keep forgetting to apply in your daily practice, or to teach you about new perspectives and methods that could help you to be a better you. For you and the rest of the planet. Continue reading

(Originally published on: 4th April 2014)

“Be creative”, read the title of a book I saw passing by in a store.

I have heard that many times, -be creative, the solution to this or that problem is being more creative.  Everybody advices you to be more creative in every area but the problem is: How in God’s green earth can I be more creative? If when things get difficult my mind immediately gets foggy?

So after some research, that means asking questions to everyone who was distracted enough as to not seeing me coming and before they could fled away I shot my question, reading here and there and realising how unclear for most people this concept is, I finally found an answer who let me, at least for now, more at ease with this concept.
