You are being limited

I was listening to the different complains of a group of people about the way governments around the world are limiting our freedom. How castrating and humiliating some laws could be for our well being.

One of the complainers was an acquaintance who lives in a very expensive part of the city and she was complaining about the abuse some immigrants have to face when they reach the borderline and they are treated like criminals and are returned back to their country.  She is the first to hire those people, pay them a miser salary and treat them almost like slaves.

Simple

I was searching for some interesting books in a book store when a couple arrived to the same section I was exploring.  They were looking for some “Do it your self” kind of books and when the woman found a book that appealed to her she showed it to her companion. When he saw the book he immediately put it back in the shelf and said: “Nah, it’s too simple”

-“But I thought you wanted something easy so we can learn from the beginning”, said the woman.

-“No, this book is too simple, I need something that looks more complicated, if it looks too simple, it cannot be good”, replied the man.
