There is a reason

The afternoon was beautiful, the blue sky showed just a few clouds in the distance and the river Cherwell remained calmed as usual with a few couples punting in the distance.

My friend professor H, is very well known for his discoveries in physics and specially for his theories in quantum mechanics. But that evening, his lesson had nothing to do with the behaviour of particles or other dimensions.

He was more quiet than usual, but today he looked more distant than other times. I didn’t want to interrupt his thoughts and I just limited to walk beside him in silence.

He suddenly stopped and said in a loud voice: “Everything is just about understanding” and continued his promenade. Continue reading

Quantum possibility

You are trying to find an exit, but darkness is all you get. You are doing the best you can with what you have and still, things don’t change and the pressure is every day higher.

You expect to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but at this moment you are afraid that could be the light of the train that is coming to run you over.

And the worst part is that the people around you, the ones who are supposed to cheer you up and support you, are the first ones to look down at you.

Your expectations and plans are high but when you don’t get there fast, people start to lose faith in you, they think that just because your plans are taking a long time to materialise, your are just a dreamer and a loser.

So things don’t look very promising, do they? Continue reading

Perceiving

We are taught to trust our senses to recognise our reality. We believe in what we can “touch”, “Seeing is believing” and so forth.

It is logical to take as “real” those things that our five senses can perceive. Our senses were designed for that purpose, right?

Well as a child I loved to play those games in magazines and books where drawings could hide different shapes and only focusing your mind in certain areas of the illustration you could find more “hidden” shapes.  Continue reading

Inner wisdom II

Inner wisdom comes not only in the form of theory or intellectual knowledge. It is a more profound concept.

We can say it is a part of our inner baggage, a set of tools that travel with us all our life and constantly updates with the help or our experiences and tests in life.

It means to be true to our inner being and apply those tools in our daily life. Continue reading

You are information

One of the most mind blowing theories Quantum physics is juggling right now is the idea that information builds reality.

Of course it is just a theory and it’s just beginning to go through different scientific filters, but the idea is not really new and there are many “big” names in the field behind it, so I am sure we will hear a lot about it in the near future. Continue reading

Quantum Thoughts — Answers

AnswersChAnd the journey continues, the answers keep appearing and manifesting themselves in our lives and we need to take a time to stop and ponder about them.

In this new book I expose the answers I have been finding along my path and after the acceptance of my other books I give to you this new son of mine, hoping it could bring you some light, hope and specially ANSWERS to your questions.

Thank you all for your support and let’s continue this journey together.

Believe and tolerate.

One of the main problems Quantum Theory has been facing since its beginnings is that it goes against too many concepts and bases of traditional physics.

The old school of physics is always measuring everything it can, to admit it.  As long as they can measure the phenomena, then it exists. But they have been encountering many events they cannot explain with their traditional baggage of knowledge. So they need to invent work theories to try to find new answers or new paths that lead them to those new answers and then is when things get very complicated. Continue reading

Quantum Thoughts

Many years ago, reading an old Tibetan document used to teach little Chelas (little boys from age 7 who study in Buddhist monasteries, the students of a Guru o Geshe) I was surprised to read that they believed, 5000 years ago, that our consciousness created our world.

Listening to a lecture at Chapman University on the last advancements in Quantum theory, I was listening to the same concepts but with different terms.

We are re-discovering knowledge that has long existed. “There is nothing new under the Sun” Ecclesiastes 1:9. Continue reading

Quantum Thoughts

 CoverQTchica

In a time when we are all looking for quick and easy answers to our deep and heavy existential problems I have found quotes to be a neat help to learn and understand complex lessons and in some cases a fast way to get some answers in a swift and effective way. Thanks to the initiative and help of some friends and students I have been able to gather a selection of 300 sentences taken from my books, courses, videoconferences, personal talks etc. I would like to thank all the people who helped me to select these quotes as “most meaningful” for them and as usual with the hope that these quotes might help you in anyway as a starting point to start your own search or a pretext to consider a different point of view, I present you this collection of thoughts that follow my line of thought and give you in just 300 sentences a glimpse and summary of my way of seeing and acting in my life. May this work give you some new ideas or help you to reaffirm your concepts in some way. I wish you the best in your journey and from the bottom of my heart I thank you for allowing me to share my quantum thoughts with you. Decide to be happy NOW.

I am the observer

Many modern scientists have admitted many times, that the role of the observer during an experiment is crucial for he or she actually is able to alter the results obtained. The “intention” of the observer seems to alter the circumstances and development of the experiment and many times the results were totally different for different observers, it is then when in some cases we see a bunch of electrons behaving in an unexpected manner and this really made Einstein and other scientists really angry.

It is not good for the old school when phenomena do not follow the “traditional” ways and they need to open their mind to new theories and rewrite the books. Continue reading
